I haven't seen Dante 01 yet, but it also reminds me about Supernove (with James Spader).

Wooot! Sunshine kicks ass.

Just rented Dante 01, I'm not expecting much but I like the idea of a Deep Space Prison Colony, kind-of surprised it hasn't really been done before. I mean, some films came close (Riddick, Judge Dredd or No Escape come to mind) but it is a pretty original concept, at least in cinema.

It would've been nice if they steered away from E.H., Doom or Supernova ect, and went more the route of Shawshank Redemption or something more character driven.

Eden Log was brilliant and this one kinda had a similiar feeling to it.

That's a pretty good list. Dante 01 was quite good and earns it's place among those classics, IMO.
