Existentialism meets sci-fi - OR - too much on the plate

This flic is yet another example of why you cannot have too much on your plate when it comes to sci-fi: God, nanotechnology, prison claustrophobia, green-gold tinting, poor sound (design), poor production design, poor storyline, a poorly gathered mish-mash of sci-fi jargoning, and last but not least, a pisspoor budget. Or should i say, French philosophy (existentialism, in this case) and hi-end sci-fi make strange bedfellows, indeed.

'nuff said. See it at your own risk.

waste yourself before others do. uh huh.

I love this concept for a Sci Fi film, and I think considering limited budget this was a great film thats worth the watch for genre fans.
Existentialism + sci-fi = pure magic in my book.
fans of Sunshine, Eden Log and Pandorum should enjoy.

Why did you think the sound was poor? I kept noticing the opposite. Same with the production design, as I thought it was up there with City of Lost Children, Delicatessen, etc. Sure, the ending was abrupt, but otherwise, I had no problem with the story. As for the budget, well, that's why the ending was abrupt, but other than that, this looked just as good as most Hollywood sci-fi flicks.
