Lazy, Lazy, Lazy.....

Don't get me wrong, I love subtle and toilet humor. The Office, Arrested Development, Wes Anderson films etc. However, there are overwelming LAZY piles of crap such as Dog Bites Man. I can't even find a way to properly critisize it. I believe that its just a group of lazy writers. I would be in complete shock if I found out that it took more than an hour to write any of these shows. The hit-miss ratio on this show is 1:10. I don't think i've ever laughed out loud but I have smiled.

To get completely off topic. The whole subtle thing has become total garbage. Especially on the internet. If I hear one more goddamn Chuck Norris, David Hasselhoff, or 80s reference i'll stab somebody.

I'm gonna have to disagree with you. This show is really funny. I dont find it lazy at all. Alot of the dialogue is improvised and the characters interactions with real people are hilarious. A show starring Zach Galifianakis, Matt Walsh, and A.D. Miles doesnt have a chance at being unfunny. A.D. Miles character is one of the funniest i've seen on tv, right up there with Gob or Tobias. Maybe if you think that Chuck Norris, David Hasselhoff, and 80's references are subtle humor your just not gettin it.

Yes, it's derivative. But so is Wes Anderson, he's taken pretty much everything he knows from Hal Ashby's movies.
