Favorite Quote?

I was trying to find a quote on an episode I saw...it was something like "I don't like this orange...it's too orange. I don't like this banana...it's too banana". Anyway, what's your favorite quote?

In the 'It's absolutely boiling' episode.

Charlie was explaining that his little sister Lola is very hot, to which she replies " I'm not just HOT Char-Lie, I'm absolutely boiling!" This is sooooooooo funny, but you have to watch it to hear how she says it! LOL.

I like "Bigger than the sun I was, Charlie" from There Is Only One Sun And It Is Me. Kinda reminds me of the Beatles' comment about being bigger than Jesus or whatever it was that they said.

Truly, though, every word that comes out of those kids' mouths is magic. Like Lotta grabbing the broom and saying "This can be my broom" when she and Lola are playing Cinderella in I Must Take Completely Everything.

Oh, and when my daughter and I make cookies together (she's 5) we always have to say "Boiledy, boiledy eggies" when we get out the eggs.

"Hey, that's right... We're supposed to sing about pirate-y things!" - Mr. Lunt

My son absolutely loves it when I sing "The sun has got his hat on, hip hip hip hip hooray! The sun has got his hat on and he's coming out today!" He'll giggle and clap and dance in the middle of the living room. While Lola says so many adorable things, her singing is definitely the best!

(Although we also love, in the Sizzles episode, Lotta's exclamation of "Honestly and promisely, we do," when convincing Marv they can look after his dog.)

While we were doing a sun project in art class, my daughter and I kept taking turns saying: (sadly)"I'm not the sun, I'm not the sun," and (happily) "I am the sun, I am the sun!"

She and I also played a game where I would say a quote from C&L and she would name the episode. She was two at the time. We watch the show way too much!:)

"That is my favorite and my best" my son likes to say that when he does or eats something that he likes. And now I say it.

I haven't seen too many episodes yet, but so far it has to be:

"Oh no, there are two Sizzleses"

From the "We Do Promise Honestly We Can Look After Your Dog" episode.

I don't remember the quotes exactly; but I love it when, in I Like My Hair Exactly the Way It Is, she's re-telling the Rapunzel story and ends it with the prince not being able to climb the tower because her hair is too short, and she says "and they lived UNHAPPILY EVER AFTER. THE END!!", or something to that effect. That is epic.

"Don't be silly, Charlie! I would never let a hippipotamus(sic) get into my bed. ... ... but I think there's one in yours!" - Lola, from I'm Not Sleepy and I Will Not Go to Bed

"Out of the black hole, out of a tricky bend, AND TO THE FINISHING LINE!" - Marv, from I Must Take Completely Everything

"How can they be carrots? Carrots don't grow on Jupiter!" - Charlie, from I Will Not Ever, Never Eat a Tomato

As for Lotta, everything she says is awesome.

I love the part from "I spy with my little eyes" when Lola and Soren Lorenzen are spying out the window, and see a puddle. Soren Lorenzen exclaims that an Ogre tripped and fell, so his crying caused the puddle, then Lola looks and says, "No, it was probably just rain."

The fact that Soren had gone through this whole story about how a puddle got on the sidewalk, and Lola just brushed it off was classic!

In the ep where they're going on a picnic and then it rains, I love the bit where Lola says "It was going to be so wonderful... and now it's not." Everything just sounds so tragic.

Eagles may soar in the clouds, but weasels never get sucked into jet engines.

Good call on that one! There are some classic lines and moments on that episode.

"I think you don't want this picnic to be wonderful, Charlie!"

And when Charlie says "I know! Why don't we have a picnic... INSIDE?", the other three all reel back from him, and the look on their face is perfect.
