whats the name of the video game consel?

in the begining the boy is playing a video game. what system is that? I don't ever remember see that controller he was using.

Since the control looked very similar to a XBOX controller it was probably ment to be an XBOX. Thing I don't get is that the game didn't match the system, the game looked like it was made in the 80s.

There are two consoles in the movie. Adult Alex plays the (fake) game on an original XBox, and kid Alex on a PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16. I assume the controller you couldn't identify was this one:

It's a standard TurboGrafx-16 controller.
