I saw it last night at the IFC in NYC.

My friend thought the wife ended being HIV+. We never saw her get her test results.

Was she?

I don't think so. Since her husband was negative, and he was the possible infecter, it seems unlikely.

The wife, Sarah, did not have AIDS. The remark you heard was that Sandra was in the hospital with AIDS. This was the prostitute across the street at the bar who was a friend of Manu's.

at the very end adrien tells mehdi that Sarah is positive and to take care of her... So yeah she has it

No, Sandra, not Sarah--though Sarah's admission that she's had lovers during her open marriage with Mehdi might mean that she was at risk.

Correct. What was confusing was that Sarah DID take an AIDs test; yet her result was never given (probably did not make the final cut).

I seem to recall that Adrien told Mehdi that Sarah (the prostitute) was HIV+ and to take care of her so she won't die in jail.
