INITIAL THOUGHTS: Vaughan and Allie

Don't like them at all.

Don't blame the older son for being angry and belligerent. Or his Mum for having a breakdown.

Yes,you should never trust a man who's hair never gets 'out of place'...too much hairspray I say.He just doesn't seem like a 'hippy, leftie touchy feely' head school teacher to me.And how many more times must we endure those soppy kisses with his misses! His kid should be angry, very angry indeed. His weedy brother should wise up to....and start kicking bedroom doors in his stepmother's bonce too!

What is hippy, leftie, touchy, feely about the kind of headmaster that he is.

Old school discipline doesn't work now because we live in a different society. Kids who would previously get physical punishment just wouldn't care because these days, most of those kids are used to physical violence and confrontation.

All stick and no carrot has NEVER worked on children or animals.

Corporal punishment now illegal. And if Vaughan hit Justin,I suspect he'd be hit back!

Can't help wondering: Is Vaughn a hypocrite or badly written?

and surely ... once Justin is in care of the police for assault, especially on a female, then it is up to the Crown Prosecution Service if he gets prosecuted.

Ali can not go to the police station and change the law now even if she says it was an accident or that she accused Justin falsely ( unlikely) in the case of assault on a woman by a man (oops he's 18 today!) it is passed to the CPR they and only they may decide, this is to stop time wasters and witness intimidators..

Justin got bail.
