It's Over

Who else is sad? I grew up with Waterloo Road, I was in high school for the majority of the shows run and could relate to a lot of this show. I know it's been a rough ride in terms of quality but the show did have a heart, you wanted the school to succeed.

Its a shame, I felt the ending was a bit disappointing. The fact the "school is saved" I felt was a bit cliché

reply

Aye, I thought it might have gone out with a bang, literally.

Funny, few weeks ago I was thinking about how it would all end, I thought it would be literally like a plot involving a gun, or something a bit more explosive like an attack, fire. Although a bit over the top, it is the end of the show all together.

Grew up watchin it aswell.Through the good and bad! Bit disappointed with the end. Although, as cheesy as the ending was with character quotes etc. I would of liked more references to classic series.

'Cue the music'and off they danced away.Grantly had the last word though, very fitting.Gonna miss my Waterloo Rd.

reply

Kind of a meh finale but hearing the "ghosts" made it feel poignant.

reply

Not ghosts, the voices represented all the 'memories' of those students and teachers we'd remember from the show!

But yes it was made to feel real poignant given the show's ending.

Hence the Inverted commas.

I am not sad its ended. It was stinking in the ratings, badly written and the production company needs to take the blame for the severe decline in quality for what was once a decent drama for the whole family.

Its that man again!!
