Not a TV Show

The imdb puts TV shows in quotations marks. This is not. Therefore, we conclude that it is a made-for-TV movie, probably a "DCOM" (Disney Channel Original Movie). This having been said, one might further conclude that Disney is trying to salvage something from the rejected TV series it was, and now it's a movie set to air in 2007 (see release date). Agreed?

I agree with the DCOM thing, but not with Lizze McGuire being a rejected show. During it's runtime -- and even after it only showed reruns -- it got more views than any other Disney show.

reply

It could be a DCOM as it has taken along time to do and Lizzie Maquire finished ages ago.

I think he meant that Stevie Sanchez was a rejected tv show.

That would make sense, except it says that it has a run time of 30 minutes. Would they make a made-for-TV movie that short?

reply

That's what I thought as well! I do hope it airs, I don't think it would be too bad.

reply

It's probably not in "quotes" because it was never released, had the pilot aired, they would've placed quotes around the title, since it didn't air, they kept the title alone. eh?

IMDb is usually incorrect because the info is sometimes submitted by fans of the show. while the info is confirmed by IMDb, the formatting may be incorrect.

For instance, this pilot was shot in 2005, not 2007.

Selena's wikipedia page also has many mistakes. If no official representative from the show (or someone who knows what's going on) takes care of the page, errors are bound to occur.
