WHy did miranda leave?

Does any KNow wHyy Lalaine Left Lizzie Mcguire???

reply

Lizzie McGuire has been ended since like 2003

reply

Yes, but Lalane left the show about 15 eps early it seems. She wasn't in the movie either.

reply

Lalaine left because she wanted to focus on her singing career. In the movie it is explained that she is on holiday in Mexico City. Is it just me or does she go on holiday quite alot?

reply

what the hell is holiday? besides christmas and my birthday

reply

She left because her and Hilary got into a fight and she wanted to focus on her singing career.

They aren't in a fight, Lalaine wants only focus on her singing career..

reply

Really? That's weird, because she only has one CD with two songs, unless AOL Music is wrong. I think she wanted to focus on acting and Disney was bringing her down a bit (no offense to Disney fans).

She filmed 'You Wish' in New Zealand during the time she would have filmed those fifteen episodes of Lizzie McGuire. It was New Zealand or California. She couldn't really have both, could she?

reply

Filming for a movie can't be more than a month, There's no way they could have made 15 Episodes of Lizzie Mcguire THEN the movie (which took place in Italy, Meaning it took a lot of prep work) in less than a month.

Lalaine could have easily filmed during the prep work of You Wish in New Zealand the only time they needed her was filming. Cause they didn't even do a lot of Promoting for the show. (Which is probably why it didn't do that well)

I am pretty sure they had their differences and Lalaine called it quits for the next season. Hilary Duff and her mom think they deserve it all. So I wouldn't be surprised if that was the problem.

But wasnt she a potential in buffy the vampire slayer around the same time??

That isn't right, she has 1 cd with 11 songs on it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lalaine:_Inside_Story
Inside story came out in 2003

after that CD came another 2 singles and she is now recording her 2th CD.

reply

to celebwen14,
the only reason she filmed You Wish was because her contract with disney hadnt expired yet. She was required to film something else for disney.

reply

Lol...No ones going to really know for sure, Only Lalaine knows the reason why!

You must be American, manwo 1982. Holiday is the British word for vacation.

Catherine Tate RULES!

reply

I doubt it was for her singing career, considering in 2003 she guest starred on Buffy the Vampire Slayer for a bit(right after leaving Lizzie McGuire if I'm not mistaken.)

reply

no it was partly for her singing career just nobody cared that she had a single or a cd or anything so it was kinda a bust

R U Blind when your born? Can you see in the dark? Dare you look at a king?
Or Sit on his Throne?

reply

Wasn't she only gone for 6 episodes?

Anyway, there were multiple reasons for her departure;

-singing career
-'You Wish' movie
-the writers of LM thought it was easier for Lizzie and Gordo to get closer if Miranda wasn't around, which set up one of the plots for the movie.

I found this on the Lizzie McGuire page:

But there are other apparent reasons that i've read about..
