Mad Money with Jim Cramer. Booyah!!!!!!

Anybody watch his show on CNBC? It's rather addicting - even though it seems just a bit contrived at times. I think the guy is serious, though. Seriously nuts, that is! Just kidding,....

Anyway, how 'bout let's get some posts and comments going on Jim Cramer and his show.

It would be funny if they could hook up a blood-pressure monitor to his arm during the show, especially when he does the Lightning Round. That would be cool.

Sell-sell-sell!!!

I watch it off and on, but since I started trading in virtual stocks (can't afford real ones), it's on now. I look at his show and then if there is something I like, I invest some virtual stock in it.

So far, I have only had to dump one company because it went to -6 today.

How does one do virtual investing? Thanks in advance ...

The game I play is at www.smartstocks.com. Fair warning: They won't have some of the stocks that are shown on Mad Money. When I tried investing in Tim Horton's (THI), I got a thermo company instead, and missed out on the Timmies rush. I am sure there are many other games out there, too.

The Tim Horton's stoch is only traded in Canada, I think. I imagine your site only lets you trade in American dollars, and on American exchanges. If THI is actually traded in America, the IPO hadn't occurred yet, so you couldn't "invest" on the virtual board yet.

Anyway, that's what I'm thinking ... just my guesses.

Thanks for the info!!

Actually, Timmies went public in America a few weeks ago.

Cramer's hilarious, I watch the show now and then just for the enterainment factor. He needs his own sitcom.

But I'd never in a million years buy or sell stocks he's talking about. I'd never take advice from anyone on tv about the market, that's a way to go to the poorhouse.

Absolutely, do your own research and reach your own conclusions.

Personally, the only investors I follow are Warren Buffett, Charlie Munger, Jim Rogers, and maybe a few others, and that's it. Some of my favorite books about investing..anything from buffett, poor charlies almanack, money game, the market wizards series by schwager and a few others.

I do like the props Jim uses on the show..the boeing plane, little bulls, all the sound effects. Just great.

Those effects are in the "house of pleasure...." haha
