For those who are unaware...

Someone in Dayton Ohio decided to throw a gas canister into a mosque after seeing the film. It gassed a room filled with children and infants, while adults prayed in the other room.

Whether or not this is propaganda shouldn't be the debate on these boards. We should be concerned that this content being sent to everyone will trigger several religious psychos like Manchurian candidates and they'll feel compelled to fight and kill on behalf of Jesus.

That's horrible. The person that would do that is no different from the radicals in the film. I agree that this content is dangerous but it needs to be brought to the light. The main point i got out of the film was that a violent military campaign is the wrong direction because violence against them only furthers their cause, throwing gas on the fire so to say.

While the comparisions to Hitler and Nazi Germany are very good there is a fundamental difference. Hitler brainwashed a nation and was a singular figure. He shouldn've been engaged with military action years earlier than he was. This current issue cannot be dealt with by the killing of a few individuals. Going and blowing stuff up only helps spread their propoganda and inflames the situatation.

Any argument asking to ban this film because it can cause damage should also equally be used to ban religion, because every religion has caused senseless deaths.

Or, in short, yes, this guy was screwed in the head, evil, but it's not the film's fault, it's his fault.
