War on Terror is a scam

Do you want to know the reason why USA/UK is pushing a war against Islam so bad? Because Iran,Iraq and Saudi Arabia have the most oil reserves in the world. America is running out of oil quickly and the American economy is teetering on the edge of bankruptcy. Since Nixon removed the dollars gold backing back in 71, every nation had to buy US dollars to buy their oil supplies. Iraq and Iran want to trade oil in Euro's instead of the dollar, but the US knows that if this is allowed to happen, the dollar will be worthless. Hence they are trying to get US big oil corporations to get Iran's and Iraq's oil before anyone else gets it, and then make India and China pay exorbitant prices to fund their growing economies. This is what Paul Wolfowitz meant when he said the Iraq war will pay for itself. The average American is too dumb to figure out all of this, and rarely pays attention to anything in the news, so they are gullible and easily lead astray by blatant propaganda such as this movie.

Actually, stephanmj has a point. You should do a little research, you might learn something.

The middle east has maybe 2/3 of all known reserves. That's up to debate, and there's a great deal to be found. TO BE FOUND .... What counts at the moment is what IS being tapped. Canada and Venezuela could have larger reserves, but it depends on how and what you are counting.

By just dismissing the poster, you are missing the point. Again, try your own advice Galilleo before showing yourself as the one who is ignorant. The dollar VS. euro debate is a big one.

"Oil or not, any group of people that are going to hijack our planes and crash them into skyscrapers is a group that we should be at war with."

It's more important to do as much as possible to ensure that such attacks do not happen on US soil again but this is not a concern of the US government nor has it been for decades.

Oil is obviously a major reason for their plans but there are lots of other financial and political reasons. They're making far more money from reconstruction and corrupt expenditure in Iraq than through oil at the moment. Israel is also a major factor. It's no coincidence that all the neo-cons pushing for war with Iraq just happen to be AIPAC's biggest exponents. Also this film specifically was funded and made by Israeli interest groups. The people in the Bush administration seem to be out to line their own pockets more than secure their countries future interests. As Wolfowitz proved last week, it's all about job's for the boys...or girlfriends.

Meanwhile IRAQ's oil revenues are going to... IRAQ!!

America is not running out of oil. In fact, it won't be long before it will be the middle eastern countries begging for people to buy their oil as America perfects more and more ways to get by without it.

Do you want to know the reason why USA/UK is pushing a war against Islam so bad?

Yeah. Because they flew 2 planes into 2 New York City buildings that held people from all religions and races, unarmed and going to work to earn an honest dollar.

Because they are spreading their cancer across the world... in hopes to apply their systems of beliefs on everyone.

Because they are threatening to drop nuclear bombs on Israel.

Because they have attacked Nittambuwa, Peraliya, Phillipines, Athens, Islamabad, Pakistan, Mogadishu, New Dehli, Neiva, Buenaventura, Cali, Casablanca, Algiers, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Mecca Masjid, Thailand, Madrid, India, Spain, Bogota, Meta, Sri Lanka, Syria, Moldova, UK, US, Germany, Egypt, Iran, Beirut, Netherlands, Sinai, Jakarta, Istanbull, Bogota, Mumbai, Mozdok, Cucuta, Neiva, Davao, Medellin, Arauca, Grozny, Tunisia, Villavicencio, Florencia, Meta and I could go on and on.

I guess we liberated AFGHANISTAN for their HEROIN fields... if we go by your logic.

This is quite simply not true. The USA/UK is not "pushing a war against Islam". If they were, the US would not be allied with the most fundamentalist Islamic state in the world, Saudi Arabia. Not only is Saudi Arabia and fundamentalist Islamic state, but they are also one of the leading human rights violators in the region, have a long history of supporting terrorism. In fact, most (almost all) of the 9/11 hijakckers came from Saudi Arabia and, in fact, were trained there. And yet the United States has a very strong relationship with Saudi Arabia. That's just one example. The US also has strong links to what is one of the largest Muslim states in the world, Indonesia - in fact, Indonesia along with Saudi Arabia has been a major recipient of US funds. The notion that there is "a war against Islam" is merely the result of a strong propaganda campaign carried out by the dutiful media who wish for us to avoid the complexity of the current situation. Something which Mysteryman does quite often, if you take a look at his posts.

Tell me, how do you feel about bowing down to Allah? That is what the Islamic terrorists want. They want to replace the Constitution with the Qur'an and impose sanctions on other religious minorities, pagans and atheists. I disagree with atheists, but I will defend your right to express your views. The War on Terrorism is one huge global war but America better wise up or we will be Islamicized--the very thing that they keep saying to us every day

Think about that

Hmmm I get the feeling mysteryman019 might be an idiot.

This bloke is a poster boy for why G.W.Bush made another term.

There is only one problem with your theory, well, many problems.

For one, the US gets most of it's oil from Canada and Mexico. If your theory was true, we would have invaded Canada and Mexico a long time ago.

reply

I've been saying such a thing for quite sometime.

Around 35% of the fossil fuels in America come from either Canada or Mexico.

How much comes from Iraq? less than 2%.

I'm way too cool for a siggy.

Oh snap!

The US does not have to invade Canada or Mexico because those countries are not using their resources for their national interests - which could have happened (and still could happen) in Iraq if a democracy gets in place without US intervention. In fact, it is only under the NAFTA plan, where all Canadian oil must be made available for all of North America - a plan which significantly benefits US interests. Under the current system, the US has absolutely no need to invade Canada given that they are already nicely benefitting. If Canada or Mexico pulled out of NAFTA and took their oil out of the international market, then you might see the US raise more than one eyebrows. Until then, though, the system works quite nicely for them and there is zero need for any kind of invasion - if anything, such a plan could only have negative consequences under the current system. It is not that difficult to understand.

I agree that IRAQ War was not needed, but salute the service of our armed forces who have fought there, for many have fought terrorists sent in by other nations, most notably those backward jerk wads in Iran. This is the nation which we should have taken on. There is a war on terror and you are either a human ostrich with your head in the f%$king sand or a supporter of folks who like flying planes into buildings or blowing up men, women and children in public places. Save your dribble, most of the world knows the truth.
