Now maybe those "third-grader-style" paintings on his wall are worth something.

LOFL......no kidding.

You should read David Grann's article in the July 12 & 19 edition of The New Yorker. Looks like Hoving was right all along. The painting is a total fake. REAL experts on fingerprints were able to determine that the Pollock prints found on the paintings were forged...made from a cast of the fingerprint on the blue paint can (similar to what the vilain did in Sherlock Holmes "The Adventure of the Norwood Builder".) Isn't it interesting that shortly after Biro's visit to Pollock's studio, lo and behold, Pollock's fingerprint started to appear on all sorts of Pollock wannabe paintings that were being authenticated...even on paintings that didn't have fingerprints on them before. The giveaway was that it was always the exact same fragment of the exact same print that kept showing up. Oh and Biro's self-titled "microchemestry" tests that allegedly revealed traces of acrylic and gold in samples he claimed to have magically gathered from the floor of Pollock's East Hampton studio were also bunk. The bottom line is that Pollock did not use gold or acrylic paint in his drip paintings, ever.

Can you find me the source for this? Post a link.

I find it hard to believe that Biro would fake all of this stuff and ruin his credibility.

On that page there is also a Related Link to a good 4 minute video about Biro narrated by the author.

You feel happy that someone died, based on 5 minutes of his life you watched on video? Wow, what a terrible excuse for a human being.

you're a goddamned moron, Raoh.

reply

Hoving was a very rude, arrogant person......sorry I am not sad that he died.

Death is just release of focus from a dense vibration and emergence into pure, infinite consciousness. You should be pissed.

That guy had an awesome living room (or was that his office?), btw.
