I actually rented this silly movie back in 2006

I'm a masochist...go ahead and make fun of me for renting this silly sci-fi claptrap back in 2006. I deserve it. Back then, low-budget sci-fi movies like this actually made it to the video rental stores first before going onto the, then, Sci-Fi Channel, now known as Sy Fy. Today in 2010, these low-budget flicks start immediately on Sy Fy and have seemed to proliferate. Half are mediocre or silly, and the other half range from mildly interesting to entertaining.

I don't know what made me rent this movie at Hollywood Video back in 2006. Maybe I was bored and because dvd video rentals were going for $3 still back then. Today I'm paying $5 at Blockbuster so I'm more selective. Hollywood Video has closed most of their stores.
