The sheriff looked pretty grubby, but next to his two deputies, he looked dressed to the nines. The deputies looked like the apeman that did the Geico insurance commercial. Makes you wonder if the director had an "attitude" about law enforcement.

I suspect they were trying to make them look like Neanderthals...cavemen as a sight gag type joke.
