I really like this show and I notice in the Jezebel episode that there were a lot of footages of Hollywood biblical movies like Cecil B DeMille memorable The Ten Commandments, Samson and Delilah and other films were awesome too.
shareThe one I see often is "King of Kings" (I think) with Jeffery Hunter as Jesus. I also recognized the "Bill" from the "I'm just a Bill" video from the old Schoolhouse Rock series in the episode where Simka tries to show that Moses wrote the early books of the Old Testament.
His style of editing in old film footage is certainly nothing new, but it makes the episodes fun and it seems to catch my kids attention once in a while, which isn't easy to do if there is a chance they might learn something....
I like these films. Helps give a neat way to explain stories.
