As to motive...

I think it could easily have been a situation where Pierre foolishly blurts out his relationship with Nicholas and Nicholas gets angry, denying things. The rest of the group gets angry with Pierre for "accusing" Nicholas. Someone then accuses Pierre of having sex with Lucie. Maybe Pierre boasts that he does have sex with Lucie and Lucie says he's better than Sebastian. That sets Sebastian off, he hits Pierre. Pierre gets angry because Nicholas won't jump in to help and maybe says something further like, "you're going to let them do that to your lover?" Now Nicholas hits Pierre and Sebastian starts in too. Sebastian grabs a rock and BAM, it's over. Guys can respond *very* aggressively when accused of being gay. Also, if you think your girlfriend is sleeping with her brother and she prefers him, that would be a pretty powerful motive.

They are bastards, that's their motive.
We should find who those bastards are (in real life),
and if they are out of prison, we should track them down and at least cut their dicks off!

There are many bastards in this world and most of them will never commit murder. So, I hardly think that being a "bastard" was their motive. All crime has a motive, and being a "bastard" isn't one of them.

As to the rest of your post... I'll leave the penis-cleaving to you.
