People matter more than dogs

Sorry, I know there are posts about this already, but you just gotta love the stupidity of people. They're OK seeing humans suffering all kinds of violence on the screen, but get their panties in a bunch when it happens to a dog. Un freaking real.

Also, they love seeing "grit and realism" in a movie (in this case, the fake movie FIERCELY), yet they squirm when a group of armed murderous criminals shoots a dog. You think real life bad guys WOULDN'T shoot the dog if it was annoying them?

One more aspect about life that I hate and that is also in this movie is: Whiny women with a huge sense of entitlement. Here we have Deniro's ex-wife living in this big beautiful house that HE is paying for, dragging him to some BS sessions with an overpaid psychologists that Deniro's probably also paying for, she apparently doesn't seem to do anything all day, while Deniro is out there working nonstop everyday, & she gets her panties all in a bunch when Deniro needs to take an occasional business phone call or two. AND THEN, it's Deniro who is left having to apologize for some reason, when in reality he should get mad at her and have HER apologize for being such an immature egotistical child.

I liked the movie, though. 7.5/10

The best thing about all of this is nearly one year later and no one has answered your thread (they are probably one of those idiots). Still to this day, it hasn't changed go to the "The Hunt" (2012) board and youl see every one talking more about the dog then the rest of the film

[Excuse my english im not Canadian/American/English/Australien/whatever...]

Agree about the ex-wife and get entitlement attitude.
In his house his children have to follow HER roles or she dictates they can't stay over.

She doesn't dictate that the courts do...
oh wait the courts always support the woman over men and children.
So that's just a true reflection of women Sadly.

But it's a film and the man has to apologise otherwise it's not an empowering portrayal of women, sod men. We don't get to be empowered.

Then theirs the other entitled ex who says his daughter tells him about as much of her life as her tells the ex about his.

Sorry? Why does he need to tell her anything.
She's the ex living off his money doing nothing but show her daughter how to be up herself and disrespect men.

At no point does he stand up for himself.
Anymore partners new or old in this film and I might turn it off.

You ate right of course but Hollywood for many years has gone out of its way to make sure dogs stay alive. That includes reshoots and changing entire storylines. All because of morons at test screenings
