hey just watched this movie.
i don't get it. at the end Collin looks into "el-gringo"'s eyes right?
Or did I miss something.
I don't even think people watched this movie.
I mean the idea that you could look into someone's eyes and become like them . Come on Hollywood.
But unlike other scary movies i like the fact that at least 2 people were saved in the end and that other group of teenagers that were going to the island was funny.
ps why do you think it sucks, i have couple of ideas but would like to hear whta you have to say..

according to the legend, el gringo would look into someone's eyes and see their soul. based on what el gringo saw in someone's heart is what determined if that person became a...chikra? lol forget what the zombie-like people were called. so evidently we're supposed to believe that colin and ashley had good, pure hearts (hey he didnt cheat on her!), so they were able to survive the stare and be saved by the wise old mexicans.
i was really surprised this movie spared colin and killed javier. i was really expecting that turned around. everyone else you saw going, but javier was cool! and colin was a bit of a owen-wilson-wanna-be stooge. although i did like the burying himself in the sand bit....ah well
There are too many mediocre things in life to deal with and love shouldn't be one of them. share
