Has anyone here been watching Lost Girl? It's a Canadian show about a a succubus who didn't know she was a succubus until he first feeding in which she killed her lover. Now she's discovered that the supernatural is real and secretly live among us, divided by Dark and Light (Seelie and Unseelie). She works as a private investigator.

The mythos and rules are practically the same as Dresden Files. Oh, yes, at least seven original Dresden Files TV series cast members have made cameo appearances so far and one episode was filmed at the house used for Morningway Estate in The Dresden Files. It could blend seamlessly into the DresdenVerse.

I tried, the show was so bad though. I don't like any of the character, and the story was boring.

Racist Game = Pool. WHITE ball push COLORED balls back into holes. BLACK ball out = you win.

Florida resident here. I'd watch but unfortunately I no longer receive Canadian channels on my satellite, damn the bad luck. CURSES!

In the past I loved watching NORTH OF 60, BLACK HARBOUR, and other goodies. It was fun and I miss them terribly. The satellite company took away my lovely channel without my permission or knowledge. Fox, which owns my satellite company, should get malignant ingrown toenails. They're hateful, hateful, hateful!

I discovered Lost Girl yesterday on Netflix. After watching a few episodes, I was like, "Let's see, a rogue private investigator with a funny sidekick working with a cop to solve supernatural crimes, hmmmm." Just like Dresden Files without the magic symbols. With toned down magic and increased sex...

Thinking it was just me. I Googled Lost Girl vs Dresden Files and found lots of articles written by others who feel the same way.

After three episodes I thought 'How in the hell is this still going while Dresden was cancelled?'. TDF was by no means high art but Lost Girl reeks with cheap stink, amateurish acting and cringe-inducing dialogue.

I've watched some of Lost Girl. It's pretty good.
