The Dark Mirror

You pull the covers off the mirrors, one by one, sneaking behind one mirror to the next as your date does the same. As each mirror is exposed, the barn begins to brighten and you can see the reflections off each mirror. But they weren’t reflections of you or of the other mirrors. Inside each mirror, there was a person who was tapping at the glass, looking like they were trying to get out. They were the souls of the other victims of this deranged lunatic. “How many others has he trapped?” You ask yourself.

You look over and you see the man with the twisted teeth has noticed that the mirrors are being uncovered and begins to move away from the door and smashes each mirror he passes. The place begins to brighten as the light bounce from mirror to mirror. The twisted clown begins to laugh. “Try as you might. But I can’t be thrown off balance by a few mirrors….hahahaha,” he begins to laugh. You and your date have uncovered half the mirrors as you both crouch and hide behind the last one in the corridor. The man with the twisted teeth continues to smash the mirrors, one by one as he passes by them.

With the mirrors exposed and the barn a little brighter, you can see the red door of the barn and know that the time to rush for it is now. You signal to your date to make a break for it. At the count of three, you both begin to run forward toppling and pushing mirrors off to the side to clear a way. But as you both get closer, the man with the twisted teeth appears right before the red door.
