There's just NO comeback to that response from Uwe.

In the making of Postal on the DVD while filming in, Little Germany theme park, Uwe is sitting on stage and someone shouted at him as if they were outraged.

Audience Member: My Grandad died in Auschwitz.

Uwe Boll: My Grandad also died there. He fell from a watch tower.

"Show me your friends and I can tell you who you are."

reply

Did his grandfather actually fall from a watch tower? Or am I being stupid?

Oh my god... it's so offensively distasteful, that I think it's the funniest thing I've ever heard.

It's a shame that sense of humor doesn't play through in his terrible movies.

reply

Roffle. YouTube plz.

reply

That joke is so old and tired I was neither amused nor offended lol

reply

I first heard it 20-ish years ago, FWIW - told by Bernard Manning.

reply

It's still funny :)

reply

i dont get it

reply

That proves it's not outdated

reply

Oh you almsot had me spitting out my coffe there, I thought you wrote "I first heard it in the 20's" now THAT would be a long time ago AND also a time paradox...

And yeah, that joke is really old.

Love your tagline, mate.

I love, how 2 people here on this thread are so dumb that they do not get the joke. Wow! Also, in Germany we use to add "drunk". So it's "he fell drunk off te watchtower". Works without drunk also though.

reply

That was pretty funny in an unexpected sort of way. Just because it came out 20 years ago, doesn't mean everyone has heard it. I had never heard it before.

Too bad I heard that joke like in the first grade. Might of been funny otherwise.

reply

LOL. Wow.
