Some of these mini-kits are just impossible

I'm at a loss for just three remaining mini-kits in the entire game, one from each section. I'm missing one on Retaking Theed Palace, one on Droid Factory, and one on Defense of Kasshyyk. I don't even know where the last on Droid Factor is, and I've got the detector. Retaking Theed Palace, it's behind a window on the top ledge from the courtyard in the beginning; how the hell do you get to it? It doesn't break. Defense of Kasshyyk, it's just way too high. I feel stupid because it's a kid's game, but it's frustrating. I'll try a walk-through...

Try to do free play in those levels, and select the characters you want. I recommend Jar Jar for those high spots, And someone on the Dark side to unlock things only the Dark side can, like black objects.
Also, save up on studs to buy a Minikit detector from Dexter at Dexter's Diner.

For the one on Retake of Theed Palace, I've found that it's best to use Darth Maul for that window. For some reason, he can jump onto the ledge (you'll have to keep holding forward while he's up there) and use his lightsaber. I actually hadn't gotten that one either, so I wasted some time before work to figure that one out.

And yeah, the detector isn't the best. It shows you where most of them are, but not all. I hope that they really improve it in LEGO Star Wars II.

Can anyone tell me the best way to get the very last canister in the game? And I mean the VERY last - the one right at the end of the 'Darth Vader' chapter in Episode 3. I tried jumping that way with Jar Jar and flying towards it with R2-D2, but I always come up a few inches short it seems - I always plunge in the lava at the last second. And with R2 I've sometimes reached the rock the canister is on but then poor R2 can't get on it and plunges to a fiery death anyway... :(

I read the Gamefaq walkthrough (excellent walkthrough btw!) but it just won't work. :(

ETA: never mind, got it. :D Wiieh, I finished the game!

There are some toughies:

Kashyyk: On the beach area, locate 3 carrots (yes, carrots) by force pulling plants. Its awkward as the constant enemies don't relent.
The one in the tree requires a Sith to destroy the black/green bush to reveal a grapple gun red circle.

the retaking theed one really annoyed me too bc i couldnt get it either..im gonna have to try to get that one now..
