Not funny at all.

I checked out this movie on cable. Now, I don't want to just bash the movie and say how bad it is, but it's not good at all. All the stand up was bad and the actors who weren't comics, really were bad. The thing that hurts the movie is the melodrama. I mean there were scenes that made you cringe from how bad they were. The problem were the actors were trying too hard to act. The reason good actors are good, is because they make it seem easy. They are natural and don't try to act. The scene with Guy Tori and his father at the wake is one example. Another is when Tammy is arguing with here mom and saying how her mom's boyfriend touched her. It was just bad. I know this is a low budget movie, but the director tried too hard to make a movie with meaning and issues, kinda like what Tyler Perry does. But the movie falls flat. The comedy isn't funny and the acting isn't good.
