umm...boring, stupid, slow, waste of money. God i cant belivie i wasted 21 bucks for 2 tickets. This is the first movie i ever walked out of in 16 years of living. After the talk with his wife or ex whatever, i was like begging to leave...but i stayed...untill the start of the next sence, then i walked out. I wanted to see meet the spartens but thought this would be better, i rather have watched meet the spartens because of carmen.

You can tell by the trailer/preview that it was gonna be stupid...helloooo, comedy is suppose to be stupid, even stereotypical at times. It is called "COMEDY" guys, "COMEDY". Drama's supposed 2be drama, stop being sooo serious yall...laugh a little...bcz God knows neither you nor whoever criticized this movie negatively are perfect. You are corny yourself (maybe not everytime) and you've spent your money badly on worse things than this film...laugh, enjoy life, enjoy silly movies like "First Sunday" for that it is, just COMEDY!! Or have you forgotten about the stupid, stereotypical (whether the characters were white or not) cartoons we used to watch....some of us still do watch 'em I'm sure. God bless:-)

shareTerrible movie. I was so hyped to see this movie when I saw the preview, I'd already planned when I was going two weeks in advance. Alot of people bought bootlegs and tried to lend it to me but I wanted to do the right thing and make sure the filmmakers made their money. I should have watched the bootleg. THis was so lame. They had such a good cast of comic actors, it's unbelievable this stunk so bad. Really just a bad script. And I'm supposed to believe that Cube would portray a responsible father character one minute, then a common thug the next??
Tracy Morgan was ok but I expected better from him. Katt Williams was an utter disappointment. I wish they'd given Regina Hall a bigger part because I can't get enough of her and to give her less than 4 minutes of screen time is a travesty.
The only part I laughed at was when Cube and Tracy were knocking back the blessed grape juice like they were at the club doing shots. Other than that, it was booty. 3/10 stars.
