Yes, much better. The Fantastic Four were a family in 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, while they were not a family at all in Fant[4]stic.

4: Rise of the Silver Surfer also has action, comedy, a proper Baxter Building, a Fantasticar, more and better minor characters, and generally more fun for the fans.

Oh lord no. The 2015 is poorly made, but this film is utterly atrocious.

Right now with the possible exemption of Ghost Rider 2 and Amazing Spider-man 2, Fantastic Four 2015 is probably the worst CBM made ever.
I would definitely say that Fantastic Four:Rise of Silver Surfer is way better than that atrocious Trank wreck.

Clearly I am biased. Even a small bit of Silver Surfer goes a long way.

The 2015 release gave me nothing.
