Human Torch was a piece of garbage

I've never read the Fantastic Four comics, so maybe this is just accuracy towards the comics, but Human Torch was a complete piece of garbage in this movie. He was dating a woman, publicly, and was actively pursuing the blonde army chick. The blonde army chick apparently acquiesced to him as she was at the wedding at the end. However, as she was about to catch the bouquet, Human Torch refused to allow her to do so, essentially, saying, "Sorry, there's more pussy I need to pound before I get married." Ummm...no wonder this movie bombed. Who would want to take their kids to a movie that teaches that it's okay to treat women like garbage?

Human Torch was depicted as a playboy kind of guy. He dates hot looking models and socialites. He was never shown having any real feelings towards the woman that he was dating, and I'm guessing she wasn't in love with him. She was in it for fun and the spotlight, just like him. While he is not the ideal role model, he is not a piece of garbage either, as you claim he is. You think those women that he was dating were saints? They themselves want to lead this kind of lifestyle where they get to date a famous guy, have fun and then move one. Garbage deserves to be treated like garbage.

He does feel attracted towards the army chick, especially after Ben's girlfriend makes him realize that he's been living a shallow and empty life. His burning of the bouquet wasn't saying, "Sorry, there's more p***y I need to pound before I get married". Instead it was just his fear of commitment. Many men are like that. even the ones who have been in a steady relationship with a girl for like 10 years, get nervous when marriage is mentioned.

These things happen in daily life all the time. Haven't you seen celebrities taking out hot models to the red carpet events? You think every woman in the world is an innocent sweet homemaker?

This movie does not teach kids that it is ok to treat women like garbage. Your active imagination is making things up. What about Reed and Sue? They love each other and want to get married. What about Ben and his girl? They love and respect each other. Is that also sending kids a bad message??

Mr McGee, don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry!
