Song identification

I literally have everything Scott's done from the 'Scott Engel' stuff through to 'And Who Shall Go To The Ball?...' and I can't for the life of me identify the song at 45 minutes into the movie - when Ed Bicknell (I think) is talking about the horrible contract Virgin Records offered Scott... there are these faint violin notes with the image of a golden staircase and I don't recognise it from anywhere. Can anyone identify it for me?

Just watched the DVD and at first I thought it sounded like a backward and effect laden excerpt from Boychild which plays just previous to it. What do you think?

I notice there is mention at the end of of the credits of a track called Thimble Rigging. It is written by N.S. Engel, voice by Elizabeth Fraser. I don't know this and I wonder if this is what the track is. If not, when does that play in the film?

I know most of Scott's own albums and it was great to hear the Ute Lemper songs as I was not aware of these either. The man is a genius. Godlike. Haha.

I can't help identify the track in the film, but according to the Wikipedia entry for the 2006 album The Drift on 4AD Records:

An early version of "Buzzers" was premièred at the Meltdown festival on 17 June 2000 under the title "Thimble Rigging".

I am not familiar with the track but I am familiar with Elizabeth Fraser, formerly of Cocteau Twins (one of the first bands on 4AD). Simon Raymonde, another member, appears in the movie.

Scott's new album Bish Bosch will be released next month on 4AD.

Prior to seeing this documentary I knew nothing of Scott's oeuvre beyond hearing his and the Walker Brother hits in passing. I was very surprised to discover his connection to my favourite record label of the 80s, 4AD, and hearing his influence on British artists of subsequent decades was a revelation.
