Did Noah leave?
What happened at the end. I was unable to see the last of the movie. Had to leave just as the fishing contest started. Can anyone tell me what happened?
shareNoah left but while he was on the bus out of town, he ran into the fisherman, Mr. Littleberry. While they were talking, the subject of Hoke Moore came up.
Noah mentioned that Hoke is the one who told him about the Valley of Light. Then Littleberry mentioned that Hoke died.
Noah looks suprised, then Littleberry mentions that is was 5 years ago. Noah realises he was talking to a ghost. He gets off the bus, and as he walks towards the shadow of Gretchen Mol through the sheets on the line (like in the beginning), you hear him speaking a letter to his brother. He says he believes without certainty that we all have a purpose and his brother can look for him in The Valley of Light.
Are you sure that was Noah?
Cause Noah's voice was saying how he walked for a year trying to get rid of the grief or something, then he was giving directions to his brother of how to get to the valley. The man walking toward the house did not look like Noah at all, and I assumed it was his brother.
I am certain that was Noah. The brother only had the jail scene.
