Why is Jeff Perry not credited in IMDB?

Jeff Perry played the store proprietor in this movie, and was a fairly significant presence, so WHY is he not credited at all? Still don't know who he is? Did you ever watch Nash Bridges, Don Johnson's last major TV role? He played Harvey Leek. He's a well-known character actor who makes regular and ongoing appearances in many TV series.

It's shameful when someone's work and contribution is so thoughtlessly overlooked.

I agree Jeff Perry is a great actor. In the film, he has a shared card with Jay O. Sanders. As for the IMDb, it is up to the actor or the actor's people to add the credit. The film/production itself is rarely if ever involved with those listings.

Sometimes they do it as a courtesy but ultimately it is the actor's responsibility/choice.

I was asking myself the same question. Unfortunately, I didn't know the name of this fine character actor I've seen many times. Your question is a good one and someone may answer the question why Jeff Perry wasn't credited.

I was wondering the same thing. It wasn't like it was a cameo role. Also, who played Littleberry? (was that the fisherman who came from out of town for the contest?)

That is correct (Stephen Tobalowski sp?) played Ned Ryerson, and the grandmother who likes chocolate (Angela Patton) played the Inn Keeper in Groundhog's day.

reply

Littleberry was played by Stephen Tobolowsky who's played a number of character roles in movies and TV (e.g. Groundhog Day, Radioland Murders,CSI Miami)

Not that anyone can't look it up on the IMDb but he's done many roles for many years. He was great in Single White Female.

He also plays Meredith Grey's father, Thatcher Grey on Grey's Anatomy.

Ha! I see my original question has been rendered moot! Someone added him to the cast credits. There ya go, Mr. Perry!
