They were at the Coliseum in Jackson, MS. I got floor seats for 80 bucks, in row B, which is a badass deal! The tracks they played were nothing you couldn't find on this DVD, and there were plenty of technical problems, as well as the firebreathing not being in the concert, but I enjoyed myself. It was really one of the best times in my life...
shareI was lucky enough to see them, meet them and have my photos taken with Tommy and Nikki in Huntington West Virginia in 1987 when Tommys drum kit span around. I was supposed to see them at home in Edinburgh, Scotland, I queued overnight for a ticket, but then they said the weight of snow on the audotorium roof, plus their equiptment would have been too heavy. Ri-iiight, nothing to do with Nikki dying on the way to hospital then and being revived after an overdose...
shareI saw them twice on the Carnival of Sins tour...the second show of the tour in Fort Lauderdale, and then again a year later near Fort Myers, FL. I was glad to see them so early in the tour because they played "Afraid" off of Swine, which is one of my favorite Crue tunes (despite the fact that I really don't like the album). I was a bit disappointed that it was dropped from the show, and subsequently not on the DVD, but then again, there was only a handful off us at the show that even seemed to know the song.
