i love the moomins and i used to watch them all the time when i was little (this was in the 90's) does anyone remember them?

Never seen the cartoon/anime version but the stop-motion models version... I hardly remember anything of specific stories, just the atmosphere, music, characters and such... Thoroughly haunted me from childhood onwards, in a good way.

The cartoon version that i used to watch as a kid was probably the best anime that i've watched to this day. I don't remember much just the whole vibe of it all- sort of a melancholic but in a beautiful way vibe... Ive gotta find this on DVD!

This version is the stop-frame motion version from the 1980s, I think you guys might be confusing it with the 1990 cartoon series 'Moomin'.

This version from the 1980s was absolutely TERRIFYING!
