I'm wondered if this series will be back for a second season but it was great and I'm quite possibly sure for this show to return at some point.
I'll contact the show's producers about the show coming back for a second season and hopefully it will probably sorted out. I'll let you know if it's happen.

As someone involved in the show (I won't say how, but not in a decision-making capacity, that's for sure) I can tell you that a second season is probable but as yet unconfirmed. That's what I have been told.
Hang in there. As this show is discovered by more people, it will develop a strong (but moderate sized) following. The real profits will be in the long-term from DVD sales and rentals.

That post doesn't mean that he's working on a new season... it just means that he had finished the motion capture work and was going on to work on compositing with a different group of people. It's like being hired on a farm to do planting and then finding out that you get to stay on to help the harvest team. Same series, different stage.

My sister said that for the past two weekends, there have been new episodes? (In the US on Qubo, to ease any confusions).
I've been working, so I can't catch them, but I've looked around (wikipedia & the official sites etc) & I've seen no word of any new happenings, besides the DVDs coming out.
Did my sister just randomly see two episodes she's never seen before or are they finally releasing more episodes?

Possibly. The original production was 26 episodes, which are able to be split into 2 13-ep series. So Qubo may have split the series. There were no more episodes made beyond the original 26.
You can take my word for that.
