Boring, slow and dark

I can't stand movies when they have them at night and you can't see anything that is going on. I think the director thinks it makes it scary or something but in this case it just made it more stupid than it already was.

It started off kind of mysterious especially at the gas station/restaurant, it seemed that the kid was up to something strange and went downhill from there.

I am not sure what exactly happened to the main kid but the reason to make this movie at all is a mystery.

I watched it on Starz and am glad I did not rent this junk!!!

You were warned.

Yes, I stated outloud when the movie first started that it would suck. This was based on the washed-out gray colors even at the school. When a movie starts this way it almost always sucks. Why not change the coloring as the movie progresses?

The acting was good. As someone else here stated; at least there were no unnecessary camera shaking and running or over gory scenes. Was a clean movie, but what a terrible story.

I was dying laughing, at the end my 59 yo dad got up abruptly out of his chair and said "HORSE SH!T!". And something about wasting a couple hours of his life. That alone made the movie worth watching, as I will always remember that!

I would not recommend this to someone older than 75 years old, as life is much to precious to waste at that age- if you are in good health, that is...

It was too dark for sure.

You are right, as soon as the movie looks too dark with odd colors, best to skip it. The movie wasn't scary to begin with so they take the direction that you might as well not be able to see much and perhaps the audience will fill in the blanks. For whatever the reason, it's lame no question.

The problem with ghost and supernatural movies in general is that unless they define its own universe properly than just about anything can happen even if it doesn't make sense. At least it didn't have lots of gore.

I agree with the dark movies comments here. I suspect that this recent trend of shooting movies mostly in the dark has something to do with cost cutting. It is probably cheaper and easier to shoot movies where the viewer cannot see much.

I went ahead and watched this movie, against my better judgment, because these dark movies are usually cheap and no good.
