15 yr old nipple...?!?

I know that the actress was 20 at filming.. But did they bare young Anna? Or was that scene interspersed with one of the older couple?

reply

Who cares man, BOOBIES!

reply

Hardly boobies at that age.

Lets nuke the site from orbit - its the only way to be sure.

reply

breasts stop growing around the age of 20-21. It's unlikely that the actress will gain much more bust without cosmetic surgery.

reply

i want to intervene..so not true.. i was a flatty until i was 22, now they're GREATTT

reply

did you by any chance have a kid?

reply

At the age of 20? That's how old they were.

15 year old girls have nipples, what's the big deal? grow up...

15 year olds also have sex, doesn't mean people should record and watch it.

reply

I agree with that. The underage (nipple) made me cringe. In the states that's underage. Also the part where older Nemo is staring at the young anna pic on his wall. also cringeworthy for a 38 yr old man to lust after a teenage girl. If it was a pic of them both young it would have had a different reminicent effect. It totally lost that the way it was done haha

You guys don't get the movie.. that 15 yr girl is all he remembered.. his true love when they departed.. And its perfectly alright to remember the best moments in your life.
So you say when you are 40, thinking abt your love when u are @ 16 is wrong/pervert??? you people are dumb or sick...
This movie is beautiful.

reply

That's pretty stupid..it's a film mate, nothing more. The actress was 20, perfectly legal.

Like the guy above me said: who cares, boobies. Indeed.

reply

The irony here is, I didn't think twice about it... I think the guy who's worried about the nip is prolly the guy who paused the film, just to "make sure" :p

reply

Noooo, not the nipples! anything but the terrifying nipples! :(

reply

Well for one I didn't notice a nipple, if I did it wouldn't matter anyway.

Whats the big deal about nipples. Do people sunbathe topless in the USA ?

Your opinion is a perfect example of the American two-faced morality!
Child beauty pageants and halfnaked teen popidols are okay, but the love you felt for a girl from your youth is something dirty. And a nipple is just a nipple, the fact that you cringed says more about your psyche. I think you have a real problem and should seek therapy..
Haha

you won the internet today

"American two-faced morality"??

only a pure idiot would type out that statement. I wonder what non-morally-deplorable country you come from...

He gave reasons. You didn't, and simply tried to attack his character. That makes you the loser of the comment-war.

so by your logic i cant look at pictures of woman i dated in my 20's if im now older like 45?
It makes me a pervert for looking at a picture of people i have known?
oh dear.. i better get to the furnace and put all my old photoalbums in there right away.. i don't wanna be called a perv couse i use to have friends and dated when i was 20 .. (light the fire .. pfffffft)

Also might want to point out that in 'merica...

If a 20 yr old tells you she's 15 and you ask to see a nipple...

YOU COULD BE CHARGED.

Apparently, it's the both the age AND the intent that matters.

reply

You'r missing the point completely.
No one asked anyone anything... Topic was about the movie showing a nipple on a girl that is 15 (actress was 20 doing the film)
And my post only stated i can look at any pictiure i like and that will NEVER be a crime. Nore make me a pervert. I actually do have nude pictures of GF's from my young life. ..

And as for Merica.. of course you charge people ony silly stupid things.. its the doubble standard meca of the world. I mean after all its a crime to wanna see a nipple and an heroic act to bomb a hole country. pfffft

I'm not a pedophile or anything like that, but I wanted to point out that the above is not true. That's a popular misconception. If everyone is actually adult, then there's no crime, thus no charge.

This is precisely why To Catch a Predator is no longer aired. The "victim" was actually an adult posing as a minor. The suspects were subsequently compelled to plead guilty when they were, in fact, technically innocent.

Creeps and pervs definitely, but not guilty of anything more than that.

The law is a fickle b!tch who's rumored to be symbolically blindfolded, but isn't.

Not true. In all jurisdictions where the show conducted stings, it was illegal to solicit sex over the internet with someone who says they are a minor. All the defendants had legal counsel who would have, if what you claim is true, had their case dismissed.

Was it merely illegal, or was it a crime?

I apologize OP for any perceived thread hijacking. This is after all a silly message board thread where anyone can voice their opinions. I hope I did not offend anyone and if so, I apologize in advance.

Some countries have laws wherein if the old-enough person being *portrayed* as too-young, then it is still considered child pornography. Not sure if the USA fits this or not, but I think it does.

Anyone who believes that the glance of a 15 year old's nipple on screen is an issue big enough to start a thread about, didn't actually understand the movie.

reply

I understand the movie completely that doesn't mean that a couple parts didn't make me cringe. Obviously this is a Belgium director and foreigners are not as sensitive to age and nudity as Americans are. I'm not alone, I've spoken with many who had the same reactions to those parts. Teen sex happens, we just don't want to see *too much* revealed on screen. I doubt there would be an American film made with girls under age 10 shirtless in their underwear either.

"I live on through dvds and tshirts"

reply

No, there wouldn't be a film like that made in America because Americans would be outraged. What you're forgetting is that a 15 year old girl in a country like Belgium is different to a 15 year old girl back in the states. In most countries, sex and the human body are a lot less taboo. These children aren't brought up to think that nudity and nudity are shameful so appearing topless in a movie isn't the emotionally damaging experience it is for their US counterparts.

You know it's actually possible for humans to function normally together naked? It's true! You can check it out in the latest issue of National Geographic.

The point of this movie is to help us break our social constraints and remember what's important in life; love, beauty, happiness, friendship, and just everything that makes you happy. If it suffers because they're not afraid to show there's beauty everywhere, I'll be very frightened for the human race.

reply

Americans got horny with pretty 17yo girls like every other men on the planet. DidnĀ“t you thought that what really makes you cringe is the collision between your natural sexuality and your brainwash?

reply

It was a body double, not Juno Temple. Just FYI.

reply

American hypocritical behavior at its best... How come the brave U.S.of A. is the biggest producer of (p0rn) excuse me "adult" industry mmmhmmmm? :)

Come over to Holland to lighten up and broaden your horizons...

reply

Man Americans are so prudish, OMG a BOOOOOOOOOOB OMG OMG. I cannot believe the Janet Jackson "wadrobe malfunction" is still in the courts 8 years later....

So its ok to show someone getting beheaded or shot 50 times in slow motion on primetime TV but not a boob? LOL

reply

I have an idea. Lets cut all 15 year old girls nipples. Something like ablation...
That way you dont need to watch them.

Btw, why dont you complain about violence. For Christ sake, we are in 2010, WAKE UP!

reply

I thought nipples grew magically at 18.
c'mon grow up!

reply

Damn it people!!!
The actress is 21 years old!!! It's NO PROBLEM!!
Do you guys actually think that they would make sex-scenes with an actual 15 year old girl? Thats just stupid.

And about looking at that picture.. Whats wrong with that, even if she was 15 years old?? Think of the situation. That was a girl that he loved at that age, and stills loves, and still is waiting for her.
Or what if you met your wife at the age of 15, and you managed to keep her, and have been married for 15 years, would it be wrong to look at the pictures of her that was from the time you met her?
Of course not!

anyways.. fifteen year old girls have sex! thats not even a secret.

reply

You know what? I usually defend America but I'm with you on this one. We Americans like to pretend we're such morally upstanding citizens and that a very attractive 17 year old girl is either disgusting or "adorable." BULL **** man. Effin' society these days... We turn a blind eye all to often. Everything is considered taboo these days and we must ALWAYS be politically correct. It's absolutely asinine.

Not all states have an age of consent of 18. Many have 16 and 17. D.C. itself, the District, is 16. A state or two even strays so far down as 15. Federal age of consent regarding internet communications is 18.
