Release plans?

Outside of scattered film festival showings, has anyone heard anything about release plans for this film? Theaters? DVDs? Anything?

Really??? Damn. It sounded like such a good cast. Can you give details? When/where did you see it? Who was good, who was bad, and whose fault is it if it's truly unwatchable?

I saw it at LA film fest, I thought it was great! Audience seemed to like it too...

Is that tongue in cheek? Aren't you the writer?

Why would you advise people that your own work is unwatchable?

This is interesting. I would think that writers on independent movies would be treated better than on big studio movies. But your responses here lead me to believe you weren't. What went wrong???

I wonder what happened and why he deleted his posts. Weird.

Is this movie any good? It gets a high number on the rankings, but the reviews are such obvious plants by the producer or director or writer or whatever. I think I'll go see it next Wednesday at the South by Southwest fest here in Austin and then post my review if it does indeed play the festival. The trailer looks interesting enough.

I saw this last night at the Kansas City Int. Film Festival and I liked it a lot. The plot is pretty derivative and cliche, but the dialogue was well written and the cast acted the hell out of it. I think I can watch anything with Ione Skye and I've never been a big fan of Stoltze but he's essentially playing the same guy he played in Pulp Fiction and that ain't bad.

The other attraction for me was the sound track. It has more "good 80's" music than "bad 80's" music.

Sarah Kelley was at the screening and as of now there is still no distribution deal.

Not a big fan of Stoltz!? Ever watched Mask?
