Soundtrack - Dr. Sauce

Hi i was just wondering if anyone know how to get hold of the song "Swamprat" by Dr. Sauce? I have never heard of the band before but the song got me at the first moment!

Thanks :)

According to the DVD extras, it was the director's brother's college band. I'm not sure you'd have any luck finding it unless it's included on the soundtrack.

I think it was an old high school band of theirs (David Herman's character and the blonde-dude character were members). I think that's why when they played the song, Herman and the other guy assumed their position in the band.

Dr. Sauce was Dominic Kelly's college band. I haven't asked him yet if the song is available anywhere, but I eventually will do. There is no official soundtrack to this movie. From what I gather, being an independent film and all, a soundtrack release would have cost a lot of money to pull off. Most of the main songs in the movie are readily available on Amazon & CDs at stores like FYE, so it isn't too difficult to make a compilation yourself. I did!!!

In fact, the only tracks that are not available to my knowledge are Bernadette Moley's version of "Heart And Soul," "Swamp Rat," and a few of the scores in the movie by Dominic Kelly.

Also, here's some useful information when making the compilation:

*The version of "No One Is To Blame" by Howard Jones that was used in the movie is the original version released in 1985 on the album Dream Into Action. It is not the alternate version from 1986 that Phil Collins revamped with Howard that became a hit.

*The version of "We're Not Gonna Take It" by Twisted Sister that was used in the movie is the newer version released on the album "Still Hungry" in 2007.
