I think it's best to just not even bother asking questions about this movie...it's really an insult to every movie-goer in America's intelligence that they tried to pass it off as a legit 'film'.

Did anyone else notice that during the gun scene it kept going from being pointed at Trevor and then suddenly back to under her chin?

reply

I think the filmmakers (I use that term loosely) were trying to suggest that in her mind, she was pointing it at Trevor, while in reality it was herself (sort of like "The Fight Club"). And that is particularly stupid. I have dealt with enough insane people to know that even they don't make that mistake. They may not know what they are doing consciously, but they won't turn a gun on themselves while thinking it's pointed elsewher. It would have worked better for the plot--such as it is--if they'd shot her while she WAS actually pointing, delusionally, at the paramedic. But this is but one of a multitude of plot holes; intriguing directing or not, I'm surprised this didn't get more like 2 stars out of ten for abmysmal story concept and no real redeeming features. Some good performances, anyway.

reply

The paramedic is the very spirit causing her altered consciousness. Therefore, she isn't making any mistakes as far as her perception is concerned.

serious answers only please from anyone who watched the movie and has any insight, how did she get the gun? any ideas? Maybe her dad had a gun? I know it is only a movie but usually a ghost can't give someone an actual item, so I read anyways. thanks!
