Ending?

My wife and I have watched West Wing several times over, and we just finished watching The Newsroom. We haven't watched Studio 60 or Sports Night yet, but we are going to soon. Based on the Sorkin shows that we have watched and love I believe we will enjoy these ones too. Regardless of how these two shows ended I was just curious if anyone could tell me if they had somewhat of a proper ending, one where the story lines are wrapped up as best they could despite being cancelled.
Like I said we are going to watch them regardless, just wondering (and hoping) if they did wrap things up.
Thanks for any help, and please no spoilers.

Oh wow thanks for the heads up. I appreciate it. Also loved Firefly.

Studio 60 is great and was ended OK. You can tell there are story lines rushed at the end due to cancellation. It leaves you wanting more for sure but no hard open ends

Sports Night gets a good ending too. It's pretty similar to Newsroom in a few ways. But they tried to force a sitcom vibe to it, so you do need to put up with a laugh track at first. But after awhile it's toned down. Both are great shows if you like Sorkin for sure. I thought Studio 60 was just brilliant and Matthew Perry was fantastic in a semi dramatic role. Bradley Whitford is a totally different character than Josh, and he too kills it. Josh was an awesome character, but so is Danny.

I loved the cast in studio 60 as much as I did on the West Wing

Sorkin recycled several story lines in all 4 of his shows that you may notice. Not in a bad way, just a familiar way

Not only does he recycle storylines, he recycles character types and lines of dialogue. I still love his work. In my family, we watch the Christmas episode of this show every year around the holidays.

Yes, I have the Christmas episode on my iPad ready for the flight home. Same ever year. Puts me in the mood.

Along with:

Knowing Me Knowing Yule
Father Ted - A Christmassy Ted
Both Christmas episode of Porridge
The Office (UK) finale
The three good X-mass Frasier episodes
Gremlins

It's apparently a big thing for ex-pats flying home.

There's a guy here who doesn't consider it Christmas until he's seen Hans Gruber fall of the Nakatomi tower.
