In the whole of series 1 it was so obvious that the lovely Marcus had a big thing for Tash. He saves the day by singing in the xmas panto with her and then in series 2 they're together.
Then out of nowhere comes Spike?! I thought Spike and Kate would get together! Now Tash and Spike are married (lame!!) and Marcus has disappeared. No sign of him is series 3, Tash and Spike are still together and Kate kisses the vicar... what happened?!?
Why would Spike and Kate get together? There were a few scenes in Series 1 where Kate got all giggly around Spike, but that's just cos he's a good looking bloke and Kate isn't good around people. It would have been silly for them to get together. Tash and Spike are a perfect couple. Dear Buddha, please send me a pony and a plastic rocket.

I felt they made Marcus be a prat to justify putting Tash and Spike together. The whole first season Sue kept wanting Spike and Tash and they both seemed totally platonic then all the sudden its Marcus the jerk and Spike the hero.
And then Marcus left? Why didn't they pair him with Kate? I actually thought the house showing hinted that might happen.
