Costumes, Set Designs

Was all this filmed in a studio or actual place? If so, where? I admit, I saw this movie mainly for the costumes and set designs which I thought would be beautiful, and I did think they were!

The movie itself was weird, a lot of crying, everything told through songs. Abishek hardly seemed to open his mouth to sing, haha. But I did think Ash looked good. What did you guys think of the actors?

I would be lying if I said I wasn't upset about the ending, what a crappy life for Umrao, lol. However, I realize all movies cannot have happy endings, but STILL it made me mad!
