Anyways coming from a director like Nikhil Advani who made Kal Ho Na ho.. it definitely would be worth a watch.
You've gotta be kidding - Kal Ho Na Ho was probably the most artistically bankrupt, emotionally manipulative and noxiously saccharine film made since "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun!", exclamation mark and all. I happen to like Saif Ali Khan and Preity Zinta, but they were both wasted in this moralistic formula fiction. I don't think Preity Zinta should ever be made to cry so continuously or mechanically as she did in KHNH. Nikhil Advani should hope to make something a trifle more mature in his next.
I will watch "Salaam-E-Ishq" for no other reason than that it features the two best working actresses today: veteran Juhi Chawla and newbie Vidya Balan. Hopefully their scenes will balance whatever idiotic buffoonery we'll have to endure from Salman Khan and Govinda.
Pretty much agreed, love Juhi & Vidya, though I can endure Salman and actually have liked some of his performances.

Both KHNH and HAHK were gr8 hits. Admitted "u cannot satisfy all the ppl all the time". Guess u fall in that insignificant .1%
No I meant the overly mushy corny romance and whatnot is what makes me cringe eg: anything by Gay boy Karan Johar, Yash 'King of Mush'Chopra, The Chorus in the background who keep going La la la la la la la la la la AHHHHHHHHHHHH, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ahhh - kill them!!!
