Help... What Was Salman Doing At The wedding????? Spoilers

Why salman attended the wedding when he didn't even know Gia (Ayesha Takia) or her family so what was he doing there at the end and how does Kaamini (Priyanka Chopra) found out Salman is there?

When salman faked his death, every one knew he had died so when he emerges at the end, how come no one said "oh he is not dead, but he is alive" after all kaamni did become famous so how come paparazzi never said anything about that?

gosh this movie lacks detail

dude, you're still trying to figure that out? As if that was the only thing that did not make any sense in the entire film!
One would think that with 3 hours and 45 minutes, they would have been able to tie up loose ends.

Salman Khan owns the hearts of Indian people.
He had to be there he owns the movie

Salman said he was a 'waiter' back at home. I'm assumming he was the manager at wherever this wedding took place. As far as the press, most of the press was centered in London, then the rest probably went to Bombay which was where Kkhamani was supposed to be headed.

Salman's character is never really explained. Could care less. Don't like the goy. He was the worst part of the film. Akshaye and Govinda totally stole the show!! And John and Vidya were hot!

Salman was obviously either the owner or the manager of the hotel. Notice the way he got the security guards off Govinda's back. So he was oviously an authority figure where the wedding was taking place. Also when Govinda asks him "Aap yahan ke manager hain kya?" Salman replies "Kuch aisa hi samajh li jiye". My guess: Owner.

yep. it was a hotel. i think it was in dehradhun where rahul & kamna [uff raaaoooul & kamini] are from. he looked like to have authority over the place. and when he was over the balcony maybe he was overseein the place to see if sab kuch tik hai. 8)

was the voice on the phone really KJ ?... my guess is that he would have been asked to make a guest appearance for this movie (logical), but since he wasnt there, i assume he did not want to be a part of it....

but the voice was very similar

Probably was his voice. Nikhil Advani (director of S-e-I) was kinda like the apprentice of Karan Johar for awhile, and Karan supported him in Kal Ho Naa Ho and Salaam-e-Ishq.
