Is this from another 80's movie? None of my friends or I can figure out what that's a reference to. And it must be a reference to something, cause she says it about 14 times.

I'm not sure they are referring to anything other than the fact that a lot of teenage girls are hyper hysterical and think that they are full grown women.

It's just plain funny; and that part of the movie happens to be my favorite. I love it when she is leaving the principals office and the kitchen with her family. I mean she is gut-busting hilarious in those scenes.

But I could be wrong and it's some famous movie reference being lost on me!

Its funny becaus ehe is a full grown woman. They're all adults playing teens! duh.

Pandering by presenting utter unreasonableness of kids as relatively reasonable is something teen movies routinely do. So Brennan satirized that, and had the little supposed-to-be-Seth-Green dude speak for us about it.
