Appropriate for a 5 year old???

Hi I was wondering if this was appropriate for a five year old. I let my 5 y/o son watch it because it was about Puffballs. I left the room, when I returned he seemed disturbed. I wondered how little puffballs could make him so disturbed but I didn't bother to sit through it so I just assumed he was ok. Now he is having problems in school and is doing sexually inappropriate things to other classmates. he said he wants to see it again. Should I let him? I'm sure a movie about puffballs can't cause any harm. What do you think? I'm tired of his whining about it so I think I'll just let him watch it again. A childrens movie such as this couldn't cause any harm to a 5 year old, but I'm too busy with my own life to watch the whole thing. Hey its just a movie. Your thoughts please.....

reply

Yes, let him watch it. At least someone is watching, and enjoying this film.

You shouldn't have let your five year old son watch the film. It's an 18 cert movie. It's not about Puffballs, thats the name of the film, but its not about Puffballs. Did you not look at the age cert for the film?! There are scenes of a sexual nature in it, and a 5 year old should not have been allowed to watch it!!

i know... that little jerk keeps trying to molest students at his class!!! he keeps watching it though...I can't stop him. It's his favorite movie.

I don't know if kingfrat78 is fooling us but let's inform him/her of the content of this film anyway:
drunkenness, somewhat explicit sex scenes, an indicated miscarriage of Kelly Reilly's character in the film, a pretty gruesome nightmare sequence that includes the stabbing of a female breast with a kitchen knife, rude language and overall disturbing themes for a child.

No wonder your 5-year-old is disturbed.

Dear Kingfrat78,

At first when I read your comment I thought "what a waste of time, no one will fall for that. It's blatantly a joke". Alas, I did not realise the vastness of stupidity in this world when I read the replies. I wonder if they are from a culture where sarcasm does not exist? I hope so. Now, please excuse me, while I set the DVD player up for my elderly Greek Orthodox parents to watch Possessed Pirates 2. You know, the one with that lovable larrakin Billy Nighy.

Kingfrat78, I salute you!

Yours sincerely,

Why don't you stop posting such idiocy on the web. Someone needs to remove your post.
What would make any adult think a movie with the word Devil in it would be appropriate for a child.
