The English spoken in the movie was very distracting


i stopped watching after 15 minutes. the movie should have been in spanish.

I'm a native English speaker and I agree. I would have preferred to read subtitles in Spanish than listen to the strongly accented English - it was very distracting, and made me think of the actors "acting" rather than just getting into the movie.

I simply am not there...

I agree. I think the dialog suffered because of it. Many of the lines didn't really play well in English and in Spanish they would have been beautiful.

I agree too it should've been filmed in Spanish but studios aren't willing to fund films in any language but English regardless of what language should be spoken in them unless they're made independently like Che Parts One and Two in which Steven Soderbergh himself had to go outside of the studio system when they refused to let him shoot both parts completely in Spanish.
