wrong angles for movie

The movie was sorta.....boring.

I mean, the conversations were empty and they really didn't have the right angles. In gubra, when the actor is saying sumthng, the camera goes off direction. they don't do close ups. i don't know if that is one of yasmin's styles but it's just 2 plain weird for me.
And i don't really get why sharifah amani received an award for her role in this movie because she wasn't much of a good actor for this movie. it felt like she really didn't dig deeper for orked's character. I thought that Adibah Noor did a much better job then her.
When Orked found out that her husband was cheating, the "fighting " scene was lame
The "what are women to you?" line could have been presented in a more, angri-er tone. it felt like she was okay about it all
and i don't know why i'm saying this but i really really don't like adlin aman ramlee. he's so..arrogant and for no apparent reason. he's a terrible actor , the guy doesn't know anything about the film industry, no, he doesn't know anything about the whole art industry and he goes around with his shades like he's everything. He's not even good looking.

BUT i have to say, it is a turnout than other malay movie this year. at least, i think it was.

I think the cam goes off direction because the scene itself focuses on the things that should be given attention to. For instance, when Orked and Alan was talking about his father being pushed down the stairs, notice how the camera shows the stairs only first, then they come walking down the stairs. That's the beauty of it, you look around it and connect the objects to the subject.
Close-ups of faces are, in my opinion, just shouts for attention. Yasmin's way is more thought-provoking. Like when Orked was packing up, the camera seemed to be hidden in a closet. It's like a child torn in a torn family, get it?

This I agree. But Sharifah Amani is only 20, and she has loads of talent.

I think it's lame because it's real life. Don't tell me you want all that cheesy drama like throwing objects at each other? That doesn't happen in Malaysialah, sayang.

Art is abstract. So is speech. I think it's like a reverse psychology for that line. You hurt me, I hurt you by acting like I'm not hurt.

Hahaha, that is one of the most hurtful and truthful comment I've ever read. Maybe you're reading too much into his character?
And look at it this way: Would you rather if Mawi took on that role? *shivers*

That I agree 100%.
