Comedy at its finest - Canadian!

Hi! This is my first time posting here! I just wanted to say hi and that I love the "Alice" show. In particular I am fond of the father character who remind me a great deal of Chevy Chase (maybe even little in looks). He is a great sad clown comedian and has fantastic comedic timing. I hope he follows in the footsteps of other great Canadian comedians such as Chevy Chase, Martin Short, and John Candy (my son, who helped me register, says I must include Ryan Reynolds). I also wanted to commend those involved with getting a quality Canadian production on the air. Well done to all the cast and crew!

I gotta say, I'm pretty new to the show and had never heard of the books. And I've only seen a few episodes but I'd agree it's pretty good actually. I know it's hard to make a good television show (especially here in Canada). And I have to say it's a little refreshing to see a show like this that can be funny, while staying as a more "family-oriented" show.
