I liked the twist ending, first off.
What were the invisibles? Why did they finally break down the door? WHy were they lingering over the dead bodies?
Why werent the strangers attacking them at the end?
Was Jesus immune?
I did as well. Would like some of these questions answered as well. The film really had a great end of the world feel to it! Spain does it again with another great horror!
I just wish the film was sold or at least for rent in the US. It never will be.

Jesus was probably immune because he's only 8 years old, which figures he'd have been born on the moon. That could well make him immune while the elder characters would have been born on Earth. So they were screwed. That's my take anyway.
The last picture shows a totally broken earth, with boats and things floating around in the orbit. I'd say, there was a war down there. I don't think there's anyone alive on earth, the hole there is just too big. My first thought was that maybe there's been an invasion or something, and those on the moon were not part of an experiment, but survivors that settled down on the moon. Over the years, they started worshipping two different gods which triggered a war, ON THE MOON. Seemed to me as if the "Virus" thing wasn't done on earth, it was a weapon they used against the other survivors. Meaning that all those mature people were the 'bad guys'. They keep repeating that the kids would never forgive them if they knew. Maybe the earth war has happened LONG before, we're like watching the X-th generation after the apocalypse. Though the woman says "You remember how we were travelling, looking for a safe place." Traveling in this moon station?
The "cold hour" might be the dark side of the moon. But it wouldn't make sense when they say "the cold hour is happening more often these days". Maybe the aliens were really the reason for the cold, maybe they already destroyed the earth and have reached the last survivors on the moon.
